The biggest wildcard imo is if Garmin Lowrance will do away with the GLS10 or similar separate processing box requirement, this is the one area Humminbird has a clear advantage and where Garmin Lowrance need to figure out how to eliminate it form their setups… Stay tuned for more info…

I run both, the Lowrance Lake Insight HD has the same information on surveyed maps as the old Lakemaster For instance, the Sliver Flat on Mille Lacs is round on my Navionic’s however the Lake Insight HD shows it narrow and longer, like it really is When fishing any lakes that have 1 foot contours, hands down to the Lake Insight HD for accuracy

My lowrance flasher died that I turned the transducer up and used forward facing for the last 25+ years So I’m debating about another flasher or take the high price dive into modern technology I get the fact that live scope is more “idiot proof” with the imagery
