I forgot for a second that released numbers from 2023 are under the old MSA definitions and freaked out when calculating New Orleans New Orleans is now 88,544,147, but would be 105,926,529 with Slidell Memphis is now 107,482,010 so even if New Orleans didn't split, Memphis looks to be potentially slowly starting to pull ahead (addition of Benton county is miniscule, would drop to 107,082,407
