haven't tried the muffler i have two of the Ultra Quiet 3" resonators on the muffler is the same design with perforated open flow channeling it should absorb the metallic better than mufflers w o media inside i'd be curious about it myself i'm redoing my whole exhaust next year and haven't decided on a muffler replacement for my Spintech

As for hangers, the originals are welded to the back of the original muffler, so I used a 4" grinder to cut them off as-close-as-possible to the muffler and then used a stainless hose-type clamp to fasten the hangers to the new muffler system after it was installed; works perfectly, and I love the sound; sounds very V8'ish!

Hello everyone, I’m looking to do a muffler swap on my 2011 Tacoma for the purpose of getting more of a hum while I drive I’ve been looking at The magna flow performance muffler #11226 and the TRD muffler If anyone has any suggestions that would be helpful Thank you

But my 99 F150 original muffler lasted until just a few years ago, about 20 years Stainless steel oem exhaust Around here, stainless is the way to go, and oem Trust me, I hate the thought of spending almost $500 on a muffler and tailpipe but I hate replacing them every year or two even more
