While Magic is an awesome game, MTGA is sadly just an okay adoptation of it For me, a big point of Magic are the social interactions I play Magic for aorund 15 years, played Modern, Legacy, Standard and Pauper pretty competitive at tournaments, but realized, that playing Magic with friends in a great round of commander is for me much more fun

And I must say MTG Arena is more convenient for casual players Back in time we just had 1 single deck, and we played the same thing again and again Dealing with paper cards (like having 2 decks with shared cards) was a PITA Arena makes that very simple On MTG Arena you have like 15 starter decks, many free booster packs without paying a dime

If your post comes off as low effort or doesn't provide a point of discussion it'll be considered spam This includes trolling, links to pictures of board states (without an explanation), posts that should be put into the current sticky, 7-x screenshots with no decklists, etc

It was high stakes low cost magic where a single loss killed the run but if you could play tight and get lucky you could win tons of packs! (30 for the full 7 win run) The best part is it happened a week or 2 right after set release so the meta was still fresh and you would hit a wide variety of stuff
