yeah i remember that article and some of the talk about it back then i believe it was around the same time or shortly after vortex had brought out their squad weapon fire control but atleast the magpul maz looked like it would be available commercially it will be interesting to see the 2025 inflation adjusted prices on the units

The Magpul PRS Gen3 comes with a rifle length and a carbine length of pull adapters The carbine length is about an inch shorter on the PRS stock exterior measurements The pictures you show appear to be the carbine length of pull adapter

Because it's not "padding" You refer to a concrete pad as a pad but there is no "padding" Like I said in my first post, the B5 stocks rubber butt "pad" is only very slightly softer than the Magpul but it is still stiff rigid Neither is like a decelerator type butt pad The butt pad on the B5 stock is more solid flat compared to the Magpul

I'm sure Ruger and or Magpul are waiting to gauge consumer response before offering other configurations but they could have at least offered a couple different grip color options at launch The gray color indicates that this is going to be marketed as a commercial civilian product and is not something that will be marketed for department or LE

Re: Magpul AR15 Stocks: MOE vs CTR love the CTR as well as most all Magpul stocks---CTR and UBR seem to get the most use but have done several budget-minded builds where the barrel nd triggers were state-of-the-art and all furniture was MOE--customers were very happy
