When you open that "Finale2014cMacFull dmg" file, you'll have the option of running the Install Finale 2014 pkg -- instead of doing that, scroll down and locate the folder called External open that and run the two pkg installers in there in order: complete the installation of "Garritan_ARIA_Player pkg" first, then run "Garritan_Instruments_for_Finale pkg" after that The important part of

The problem was that the notehead in this bar was hidden by using special tools note shape tool The original file was created in Windows and I'm currently working on a Mac (creating parts) I guess that the font symbol that was used for a blank space (to hide the notehead) in Windows somehow translated to a different font symbol in Mac The problem though was that it looked fine in the Finale
