I think what Meguri is focusing on as Satoko's flaw is her being tied to the past Note that even at the start, she's shown embracing Rika's dream because she felt directionless regarding her previous dream (Satoshi returning, when Rena asks her about it and she looks at the cards) In the end, she embraces Rika's dream However, going to St Lucia just attempting to keep her relationship with

We're not quite at the end but I definitely think it's worth reading, it does some things pretty differently from Sotsu I really like some of the changes, but I'm indifferent on others Whether it's better than Sotsu is subjective of course, but due to how certain arcs were changed I much prefer Meguri as a whole so far

Meguri doesn’t take a sledgehammer to its tone and actually feels like an ending to Higurashi No magical girls or cross fragment fights, just the club doing everything they can to save Rika and Satoko
