I'm from southside, mainly gander flats on se 15th where I attended Shidler school from 1960 thru 1965 moved to Capitol Hill area and attended Capitol Hill Junior as well as Senior before dropping out to enlist in Marine Corps, graduating boot camp December 9, 1970 I have so many wonderful memories of my times that I would love to share

That brings back some memories! I road my bicycle on S Pennsylvania (back then it was a dirt road south of 89th) to go fishing at a couple ponds around 119th street Later, we used to race cars in the TG Y parking lot before they built the Sirloin Stockade (forever known as the site of the 1978 mass murders by Roger Stafford )

Memories of the old Chandel club I recall going to the Chandel club at the top of United Founders very young boy sometime in the late 60's It was, at the time, pretty impressive especially with the revolving floor and the view of the entire city

Re: KATT memories i was a KATT guest DJ in September of 1993 My dad brought me up to the station, which at the time was off of nw expwy and meridian, kinda close to where the arbys is we arrived a little before midnight-before i was due on air the dj was cool someone who didnt last at the station long, and even though i brought along a
