Ask Mike Mantey if splits are part of the Discovery The reason it works that way is that a tighter string takes a greater pull to move 100 cents (a full fret) than a slacker string Therefore, from C# to C (the split) takes more finger travel than from B to A#, so if the C is in tune, the A# will be flat

I bought a rumble 100 to use primarily with my bass but It sounds really good with steel I think it is because of the extensive EQ possibilities a low, 2mids and a high plus several toggles for other tone possibilities cabinet is sealed and almost a cube which makes the low end fantastic and the weight is UNBELIEVEABLE I think it is 19lbs

I have just an S10 E9 3x5 (Mullen Discovery), so don’t need the bass coverage that one should have with a C6 neck I’m a relative beginner compared to most on this list, I’m sure If after the pandemic I get a chance to play out, of the amps I have lying around I’d probably use a Roland Cube 80xl, clean (Jazz Chorus) setting
