@SmashBrosFan137: The playable Inklings being 5' is common misinformation not corroborated by any official source, as far as I can tell Pearl is 145cm tall (around 4'10) according to The Art of Splatoon 2 on page 93, which is also where Marina being 178cm (~5'10) comes from

This game's models are really good Sure, they may be low-poly and in a fixed sitting position, but the 3DS's hardware isn't too powerful, so it was a necessary sacrifice The models have really colorful textures, specular maps to go with those textures, and even vertex colors that make the model that much more vibrant
