BTW, 23andme will actually flat out say what your Native American percentage is and trace simply means they can't identify something clearly On the results, it's listed as "Indigenous American"

Not too surprised by my results other than now I have a break down of percentages However, I was a little surprised by the trace ancestry The distant relatives info is pretty interesting as well, you could really go down a rabbit hole trying to figure out your connections

So the median (50%) is somewhere between the 12 5% and 25% Euro ancestry marks Like I said, probably high teens And that plays out pretty consistently with the eye test when you look at random African American admixture profiles on 23andme and other sites 12% - 20% is pretty normal, from what I've seen
