For every great thing said about a certain optic I can find equally as many people bitching about it Nightforce, vortex, kahles, zco, s b, TT, leupold, you name it Makes it real difficult to choose anything without firsthand experience

Try both of them at the range if that is an option Nightforce definately has a loyal following and a reputation for reliability To my novice eye, the glass is similar to Leupold Or Save $600 over the S B PMII and take a close look at the Kahles 624i Highend glass is just getting crazy expensive ! Re: Nightforce vs Leupold Ok, I own MANY Mark 4's and 2 NF's that are 5 5-22x50 with high speed and zero stop Leupold's are fine I shoot to 1350 yards with a Mark 4 It will go farther than that but that is the maximum range of my rangefinder That being said, it will do the job Now, the Nightforce is a better scope I shoot in MOA

On the fence between a Nightforce NX8 4-32X50 and a Vortex razor hd 4 5-27x56 I've had lots of (positive) experience with Vortex but have yet to own a NF, this is going on my new 308 build Leaning towards the NF after handling them both in person but I just can't get over the warranty Vortex

Re: Advice for NightForce 8-32 x 56 NXS needed This question has been discussed in the F-TR forum here too If you are shooting F class worth a look For shooting 1000 yd F-TR the NP-2DD cant be beat (IMO) Getting a cluttered reticle does just that, clutters the view

I talked to Nightforce CS quite a bit before deciding on giving the SHV F1 a try I really like that they hold this scope to the same standard as the NXS and ATACR, testing every single scope they ship, not just batch testing Also liked that the SHV glass is the same glass they use in the NXS line
