We had a "D2 Superior Balcony" cabin on Deck 12 of Oasis few years ago It was located about 1 3 of the way from the front classified as a "mid ship" cabin We had no problems or complaints We are booked on the Oasis "twin" Allure next year, and this time opted for Deck 9 cabin (also D2) at the front of 2 side "hump" locations

One cruise on Oasis, I honestly never felt like we were at sea, on the last cruise a few times I had the classic walking down the hallway swaying from side to side That said the Oasis class is by far the most stable ship in normal seas

Saw some reviews that these might not offer much shade depending on the ships position and time of day They are pretty much open on all 4 sides so the sun coming in at an angle is pretty much a given And like mentioned above these were free last year and now cost money to rent
