I buy the sushi nori laver algae from my local oriental market I think they have stores all over it's H-Mart very clean and very large selection of algae If you can find non-roasted, that's great Otherwise roasted will still work with supposedly slightly less nutritional values Note that the public aquariums use roasted

Hi guys I feed my fish 3 sheets of 4"x4" I tie it with a rubberband to a molded putty hook I made, on a line, in open water area of tank I first wrap the nori in a tightly rolled cigar, and sometimes fill it with pellets and soak with garlic or selcom vit I start this early in the morning and all the fish pick at it all day

No tangs but I do feed about 1 8 sheet of nori to some of my inverts (urchin conch etc) a few times a week My only comments on nori are:-- cheap (on Amazon) and lasts forever-- left-over nubs that end up in the tank are good for a lot of CUC critters and don't seem like they rot into anything too bad for your tank parameters (IMO)

I just use; - Frozen mysis brine (3 cubes of brine, 2 of mysis) - Natural film short long hair algae (I try to keep a form of either of these algaes growing on the back and right hand side walls for natural grazing purposes)

was wondering the best way to feed Nori to fishes without them ending up floating around and going to waste I tried the veggie clip, squeezing them between magnets and my fishes just tear them up from the edge of the plastic piece of the veggie clip and half of it ends up floating around and end up in the overflow or stuck between rocks

Although we do use Nori on occassion, we really like Ocean Nutrition's algae sheets because they come in 3 varieties (Green, Red and Brown) We cut a full sheet in half We then fold the half sheet in half and cut small strips We then fold the sheet like a fan and place it in the clip
