A buddy of mine just picked up a 7mm PRC and asked me for some loading help Going with the Nosler 175 gr ABLR in Hornady brass For powder, he has IMR4831SC and H1000 I'm thinking Retumbo would also work well Anyone have any loads they can share? Thanks in advance JD338

The 40 grain Nosler, Berger’s and Vmax 204 bullets kill way better than the 32's and even the 35's, if you have a gun twisted fast enough to stabilize them The 35 grain Berger is more fur friendly if that matters, the 40's are just plain mean On a 223 I'm using the 75 grain Hornady HPBT and killing pigs and coyotes just fine

I still need to find an accurate load from the 257 but the 7x57 does anywhere from less than 50" to about 80" depending on which bullet I'm using Currently it's the 150 gr Nosler Partition which hovers around 50" on average depending on condition and the jerk behind the trigger Paul B

Shot the new Nosler Whitetail Country 308 Winchester 165 gr Solid Base load into the water jugs at 40 yards MV was 2800 fps and the bullet was recovered in jug #6 Pretty impressive results and think this bullet and load would perform quite well on elk JD338
