There is probably not an ignition terminal in 55 Buick got rid of that back in the 30s I would expect it to have GEN ARM, F FLD, and BAT The BAT terminal goes to power the car, and goes through the ammeter to the battery The fuse probably said in the instructions where to put it, but it seems to me anywhere except F FLD would be ok
