The P365 is a difficult pistol to shoot because of its short grip, lightweight, and short 3 1" barrel, all of which translate to less control, easier to disturb the sights, and more muzzle blast and lift I would start by adding some sort of magazine extension to ensure you have a full grip including your pinky

You have a P365 family pistol, so your slide is milled to the RMSc footprint Things I would look for in a dot are: a reticle type in my preferred color, an aluminum body (not polymer), a water or dust resistant (i e "IP") rating, the ability to replace the battery without removing the optic, and solid customer service

wasrbuffalo - FWIW, a P365 or P365 XL has been my 90% carry gun since late 2018 (with no mechanical issues at all) And from prior threads it looked like (to me) around 2500 rounds was a point to evaluate certain (normal wear) components for replacement
