What draws me to the OLED is the black levels For room size and cost reasons I'd have to stick with a 65 OLED My question is the black levels just that much better on OLED that it's a significant difference If I go QLED I can go bigger and cheaper For instance, would the space battles in The Expanse be a noticeable difference

The better color volume and brightness compared to OLED was also more than noticeable But I will go with another OLED for my next TV purchase Getting a Samsung QLED is not a price saving move over an LG OLED (and an OLED might be a better value since LG’s prices drop faster and more often than Samsung) The LG is generally a better gaming TV

IMO, OLED is absolutely superior to QLED (or any LCD) when watching in the dark, and it sounds like most of your viewing is at night In a bright room, OLED does lose its advantages over LCD in terms of black levels and contrast But it looks like you have blinds you can pull down over the windows when watching during the day
