I would like to sell the experimential Piper Pacer with paperwork complete, but a new owner would have to sign a release form Or would I be better to sell, say the firewall forward 180 J2A with Sensenich 76 x 56 with spinner, 180 cherokee carb, oil filter setup , new Kosola built mount, Shower of Sparks mags, lightweight starter and alternator

The Pacer I fly will carry 684 lbs with full tanks, 36 gallons Go with the Pacer 150 160, VG's, climb prop, 8:50x6 and use all the difference for gas to get good Pacer requires you to sit up and look interested during landing and takeoff, but that's all

We installed VG's on our stock tip 160 thundering horse 22 20 Pacer with improvement in slow flight and aileron control The A C will not stall in a power on high climb attitude, just hangs on the wing at 60 with the nose looking for the moon Also better control coming over the fence at 55-60MPH Nice control landing short and slow

Having built Super Cub wings and Pacer Tri-Pacer wings (presently building a set of Clipper wings) there are sutle differences The Vagabond, Clipper, Pacer Tri-Pacer are one bay short of a Super Cub wing The ribs, compression struts, drag, anti-drag wires, attach and strut fittings are the same Some of the control fittings are different

The Tundra Boss, 4" widened Pacer frame, stretched 24" or so, ext wings, cessna flaps, and when I saw it there was a 540 hung on it Really neat looking plane , Nick said it was a cross between a 185 and Beaver for useful load It's sitting in his hanger in London, Ont For sale if anybody is looking for a different kinda Pacer

A 1951 Pacer has a different fuselage and one less rib in the wing $150 pretty cheap or if you had an FAA inspector with comon sense he would approve it The Univair STC for installing the O-360 on the Pacer only applies to the Tri-Pacer converted to Pacer PA22 20
