I work at an energy company that is always working with CRE owners to install and build out energy systems for buildings We don’t have a CRE data subscription so I’ve been looking into some Costar quoted me $72k year which seems ridiculously high given my company is more of a solar equipment vendor I explained this to the sales person many times but they just say their pricing team won

I'm working with a client trying to get parcel maps in Missouri They have a Sunshine Law that says data should be provided at reasonable cost How do some of these counties get away with charging over $2,000 for a copy of a 2-4 MB file?
