If you focus a lot on corn, then you face pellagra Historically many cultures did well on porridge Any mixture of barley and oats or any of the other grains [buckwheat, quinoa, sorghum, millet or rye] I would avoid corn and rice You could add a mixture of grain porridge and then maybe some dried fruit like raisins or prunes And fold in some lard fructose, starch, carbs, protein, roughage
