I love my Phoenix as well Mine has the 18V pre with double P pups It provides most of the tone the old BC Rich's produced without the varitone control Overall the bass is excellent quality and plays like a dream It's a TONE MONSTER as well A few years ago, I totally rewired and rebuilt the preamp, had the body painted in a worn hotrod style and made the checkerboard pickguard
