06-09-2022 06:31 PM @ttocchi Actually the 8GB RX 480 is mostly stronger than the 3GB GTX 1060 The 3GB GTX 1060 has quite a few less CUDA cores than the 6GB GTX 1060 I initially bought the GTX 1060 refurbished to use it for dedicated PhysX and works very well in Killing Floor 2

Tried to find the Ageia but it all comes back to Nvidia Physx, and when I tried to install the latest one released by Nvidia physx it got worse I tried to dig in the Mafia II directory and I found an installer for Physx from Nvidia and just installed it, it got way better, still random drops in fp

Apparently, Radeon supported their own type of PhysX through OpenCL, but unfortunately game Devs did not use them: Just wish AMD could improve older DirectX11 performance and after 5 years fix the Unreal Engine 3 DirectX9 bug they have reintroduced Kind regards

Which means your AMD Driver installation is corrupted I have an Nvidia GPU card but just showing you what to look for when you run GPU-Z (Free program): On your AMD is should show Vulkan, OpenCL, OpenGL, DirectML boxes check marked DirectML is a new one for me but it used to be DirectX I believe CUDA, PhysX, Ray Tracing is for Nvidia GPU
