I called each bank all confirmed one thing, the transaction doesn't even reach the bank 3 I tried the Chat they told me by default message, without checking to try another card and talk to the bank, and ended the chat 4 I tried other browsers, no luck My guess their payment processing service is at fault Has anyone had the same issue? There is a Cathay bank EVA card that is supposedly better, but the key part is if you're a foreigner it's extremely difficult to get a credit card in Taiwan in general With Amex they can take your US other country previous Amex credit history into account and give you a taiwan credit card This last part was the key factor for me
