I stumbled upon Quotev while searching for zombie apocalypse-type fanfics and fics The UI seems quite intuitive and I get to post fanfics, fics, non-fics, quizzes and surveys for FREE? It seems much more flexible in terms of what you can do with it as opposed to the traditional fanfic platforms such as AO3 and Fanfiction net

i'm not on the site at present due to my ip ban, but it feels like the purpose for which many quotevians used the site for (writing, quizzes, the editing niche) may be something they're growing out of? its important to note there's no real advertisement for quotev unlike how you'll get tiktok or insta ads, and thus the new generation of kids to flood quotev have to choose to be exposed to it

Quotev was how I discovered fanfiction, I was taking a bunch of Justin Bieber related quizzes and found them on there Soon after I realised you could read stories on there and for about 5 years I'd only read my fics on Quotev Here and there I'd log into my account just to see what's up

I used Quotev starting back in like 2013 2014 and I swear to god it was like one of the small "corners" of the internet where there were exclusively pre-teens and no one over the age of 16 used it but like, it was still a fanfic website so I really expected there to be more members here
