- RCBS MatchMaster Dies? | Snipers Hide Forum
These RCBS dies work well for me I use 223, 243, 30-06 and 6mm Creedmoor The concentricity is really about the same as the standard dies I do have a set of Redding dies for a 6mm AR and the seating die have about 25% less 'runout' than the RCBS dies
- RCBS vs. Redding dies - Cast Boolits
I added a Lee through powder expander before I got the RCBS set SxS sizing , the brass working is about the same to my chamber Die brass contact happens about the same place The Redding makes a much more decided line on the neck and a slightly longer grip area The RCBS is a more fluid line and honestly better suited to my personal needs
- RCBS, the first press - Cast Boolits
RCBS research had determined that most people preferred down stroke operation, but to cater to those who felt the original Pacifc was best the blocks were drilled and tapped to be convertible to up stroke if the owner preferred The relationship was short lived, RCBS needed more control over quality and Heckner was a bit eccentric
- Comparing reloading die sets. . . . . RCBS vs. Redding
If lead, RCBS has a nice "cowboy" reloading die set which is made specifically for lead projectiles I have an 1895 (22" 45-70) and use the RCBS Cowboy die set and it performs well I'm shooting mostly lead 300 gr RNFP bullets at around 1,100 fps at paper and steel (it will also load jacketed bullets just fine which I've also done about 50 of)
- Hodgdon purchases RCBS from Revelyst Vista outdoors
About RCBS Established by Fred Huntington in 1943, RCBS is dedicated to the craft of handloading ammunition Started with one simple bullet die, RCBS is now the leading manufacturer of reloading equipment and tools for rifles and pistols – everything from presses, dies, shell holders, powder measurers and priming products

I also use a Redding body die and eventually went for a Redding competition seater die This makes excellent ammuntion To make decent ammunition an RCBS standard seater would be fine The other thing I bought recently was an RCBS gauge - you don't need one but it helped me work out what worked and what didn't Is RCBS etc etc better made
- RCBS . 44-250-K vs . 44-250-KT - Cast Boolits
I have 3 more RCBS two cavity molds: 44-240 SWC, 44-250 SWC, 44-300 SWC Somehow I acquired all of them in almost unused condition and let them sit for several years In all there are twelve 44 caliber molds The lightest is an MP 200 gr and the heaviest is the RCBS 300 gr I am curious about the 44-245 SWC
- older 10-10 vs 5-10 scale - Long Range Hunting Forum
Found a OHAUS, which makes the RCBS scales, looks the same except tan and all parts interchange and finally struck a deal on it The 10-10 is the best scale I have used I used the 5-10 for a few years and found the 10-10 for a good deal
