I will be filing a Ch 7 most likely tomorrow (I went over all the paperwork and signed everything yesterday ) I have a 2020 Nissan with low miles that I plan to keep and reaffirm, however, my attorney sees no reason to reaffirm I thought that making my normal on-time payments over the next 4 years

Re: Reaffirm Bridgecrest Loan A couple weeks after my discharge I was approved for a loan at 4% of course your case may cary but it all depends on your profile ,income job history etc I am about 14 months from discharge now and just got a second vehicle for nearly top tier rates

Re: USAA - did not reaffirm I don't know much about CH7s, so I can't offer advice about re affirm nor insurance, but during my CH13 I was advise to move all my money out of any bank I listed as a creditor

She said even with the equity, it's too big a debt to "re-take" after having a BK discharged even though I was fully ready to re-affirm it She barely let me reaffirm my auto loan, but I had to sign paperwork stating that I was doing it against her advisment As far as paying the mortgage loan, just keep sending in your payments like normal

Mine advised me not to reaffirm, just continue making payments on time and there was no chance they would repo (lower value, older car; they would have taken a loss with the cost of the repo, getting it ready for resell and possibly having to take it to auction ) or stop making payments if I wanted to surrender the car and schedule a surrender
