I have a 1999 Ford ranger xlt with a 4 0 liter v6 automatic, with 270,000 miles (she's a trooper) Ok so here is the problem, if my car is running and not moving at all it makes no noise, doesn't matter if it is in park, neutral, reverse, drive or whatever It wont make the squealing noise

Does this mean that the FX4 came with something called "High Ryder Option" and therefore normal Ranger 4x4 shocks will not be the right length? KYB (as an example) does not however list a shock for vehicles WITH the "High Ryder Option w FX4 Bilstein Suspension"
