For instance: ProtonVPN is not very easy to use with WireGuard on Linux, but Windows is apparently well supported I only use that as an example, and you can get round it It also depends on what sites you habitually want to connect to, for instance DAZN in the UK refuses all ProtonVPN connections - I don't know if they refuse Mullvad etc
