Lots of shoes if you want to stay in the lighter weight potentially lower cushioned category and want to change from the launch Hoka Rincon Asics noosa tri NB Tempo 361 Fierce 2 Hoka Mach 5 Saucony Kinvara Brooks Hyperion tempo (which IMO is a better shoe than the launch YMMV though) If you wanted to go up in cushion then you could also consider Saucony Endorphin Shift 3 or Ride Hoka Clifton

I currently run in newton distance shoes, which i love, but after some heavy running weeks my right foot neuroma can start to flare up a bit I have orthotics which have helped quite a bit as well Curious if anyone has been in a similar situation and has found the cushion of the Hoka (sorry, HOKA) shoes has helped or what your experience has been

The Hoka Mach 4 is a high stack shoe and aggravates my Achilles less than anything else I’ve tried probably a good idea to define terms does the OP mean by “high stack” the height of the shoe off the ground? or the height of the heel relative to the forefoot i think most people here think that he refers to the latter if “high stack” is defined as, say, more than 10mm difference

I’ve put a lot of miles on lots of shoes on my mill I haven’t noticed any of them being better or worse for treadmill running other than my hoka rincons seem to wear faster, but I think those shoes just wear quick anyway I mostly relegate shoes that I’m not too crazy about for treadmill duty
