- Reverb - The Steel Guitar Forum
Re: Reverb by Lane Gray » 25 Oct 2025 5:19 am Given that I don't personally like the sound of the Peavey reverb circuit, I like that idea a LOT better When I run my Peaveys instead of the Milkman or my Seafoam green twin, I bring along an outside Reverb If you hang out with the bluegrass crowd on the island, tell Caroline Wright I said hello

- Good steel reverb recommendations anyone? - The Steel Guitar Forum
A good pedal steel sound needs an exceptionally good reverb on it when called for, especially in the upper registers I've tried a couple of Alesis digital versions and am underwhelmed Anyone have recommendations on a good reverb, preferably with a pedal switch on it? I'm pretty new at this, so any advice is appreciated Thanks!! Erv Niehaus Posts: 27127 Joined: 10 Aug 2001 12:01 am Location

- Reverb and Delay effects - The Steel Guitar Forum
Any thoughts as to what is best, and does the venue affect your decision on 1 2 or both ? 2 Over the years I initially used the analog spring reverb as provided in Peavey and Evans amplifiers, then later added the Boss DD3 digital delay pedal, much later I went with a Profex2 for reverb delay and currently use the Lexicon MPX1 for both effects
- Effects Pedals - The Steel Guitar Forum
What are your favorite effects pedals for pedal steel? I assume reverb and delay, but anything else? Are there effects pedals made specifically for pedal steel that you find useful? Do you use the stereo split on your volume pedal with to have different signal paths for different effects, or to play through two amps at once?
- delay reverb for lap steel amp - The Steel Guitar Forum
posted 14 June 2004 02:48 AM profile send email edit Do any non pedalers have a reverb delay unit they can recommend for lap and console steel ? I tried plugging an Alesis Nanoverb into the effects loop of my Peavy Classic 30 to add a dash of delay or plate reverb The effect (s) sounds great, but just plugging the unit in, even with the wet mix knob turned totally off, really thins the sound
