Any spell that breathes life into the dead (including revivify, raise dead, resurrection, and true resurrection) automatically fails if cast on a humanoid whose soul is either trapped in the Soulmonger or has been devoured by the atropal (see “Soul Devouring” below) So, no, Revivify will not work in ToA GNOME

- Revivify - Spells - D D Beyond
The description of Raise Dead, a more powerful spell, notes that the spell neutralizes any poisons that affected the recently deceased character Since Revivify description does not, is it safe to say that this spell does not neutralize poisons? - Gentle Repose with Revivify - Rules Game Mechanics - D D Beyond
I would rule that yes, as long as you cast Gentle Repose within one minute (which means not as a ritual) then Revivify should work on that body Revivify is definitely a dead-raising spell covered by the description of Gentle Repose The combined spell slot levels is the same for a ritual Gentle Repose + Raise Dead as for Gentle Repose + Revivify
- Reviving PCs - Rules Game Mechanics - D D Beyond
Neither Revivify or Hand of Ultimate Mercy actually state they can resurrect unwilling souls - and since they don't they lack the specificity needed to break the general resurrection rule So, really, no The feature, nor revivify, currently allow rezzing an unwilling soul (even though in previous editions revivify did)
- Can revivify heal mortal wounds? - Rules Game Mechanics - D D Beyond
Revivify can't replace or regrow a limb or head, but it is possible that it could reattach one I would personally rule that as long as all the parts of a body are placed together in roughly the right shape, then revivify should be able to stitch it back together Any body parts not in the area could not be replaced though
