- How to mount the router plate. . . - Router Forums
I finally got my router table plate from Rockler, a Bench Dog plate There are several screws included, and I also got the router table leveling and locking hardware pack, which included 8 screws and 2 "screw in nuts" The large screws are for screwing the router to the plate But which
- Rockler lift table question - Router Forums
Rockler is the major user of the 8 1 4 x 11 3 4 plate size, most other manufactured router tables use the 9 1 4 x 11 3 4 size plates Rockler should offer the correct size lifts for their tables If not, jessum and others offer the Rockler sized plate as an option Might be easier ordering the correct size lift than remaking the top
- Router insert plate size: Rockler v. all? | Router Forums
Rockler seems to have standardized on a router table insert plate size smaller than everyone else 8 1 4 x 11 3 4 as opposed to 9 1 4 x 11 3 4 I'm not coming up with any pros or cons for this smaller size other than the larger size might make it a little easier to put the router assembly in the table
- Which router lift should I buy? - Router Forums
The Rockler Router Lift FX has an aluminum milled plate, but is made in Taiwan and has no locking mechanism The JessEm Rout-R-Lift II only has a phenolic plate, but includes a locking mechanism and a dual bearing system And the JessEm Mast-R-Lift II is great in every way, but costs an additional $160 Which router lift would you recommend?
- Which Sign Making Template System Is Better - Router Forums
Charley remember the Miles craft kits come with router bits and guide collars and the Rockler kits require you to buy them separately Both seem to have decent reviews I do notice the Rockler kit does not include a frame system to hold the individual templates, they rely on taping the templates down You might also consider a pantagraph
- Opinions on this lathe? - The International Association of Penturners
Rockler, in general, offers quality items and has a very good reputation (IMHO) with their service I don't order from them regularly because they are usually a bit more expensive than I can get in other places AS to the lathe, It looks good and if I were in the market today for a pen lathe, I would certainly consider that one
- Rockler Perfect Fit Dado Jig - Router Forums
The problem hasn't been with the jig, it has been the locking mechanism on Rockler's guide clamp it uses After awhile, the locking mechanism makes notches in a long rod that begin to make the lock hard to use, or to slip I have a Dado Wiz that works pretty well, but I just clamp the guide in place
- Rockler and Benchdog table inserts, also install questions
Does anyone know what the differences are between the aluminum router table inserts offered by Rockler? There are three different ones, all the same dimensions (8 1 4 x 11 3 4 x 1 4") There is a blue Rockler plate, a black Rockler Pro plate, and a Benchdog plate I can't see a shred of difference between any of them
