On top is a No 1-B in 270 with a Leupold 1 5-4x28 IER Scout Duplex scope in regular Ruger low height rings Eye relief is 6” at 4x This is very comfortable for me in terms of cheek weld and eye relief On the bottom is the new-to-me No 1-A in 7x57 Mauser with a 1960s Weaver K6 60-B1 mounted in medium height Ruger offset rings Those rings only buy you 3 4” moving back but I needed it

I just got a real nice M77 RSI Mannlicher in 30-06 But the trigger is set at about 6 lbs Anyone have suggestions for getting the trigger down to 3-3 1 2 lbs? I backed off the hex screw in the trigger but it did not do much
