Scheels for me growing up was a cool store but with no name brand quality items…you could buy bats, balls, and gloves, but it wasn’t the best quality I’m not really looking for that anymore, but it seems like the selection has improved I also agree that their online service by far outweighs Cabelas

When I was in Iowa the Scheels there was stupid expensive in used guns It was laughable Stock Christensen CA-15 Recon, used, $2300 I paid $1700 brand new for mine DDs we're $1400 used when they were $1200 brand new, etc What a joke Maybe mine was just a bad store compared to others

I have seen used guns @ Scheels in Eden Prairie that you can drive a bit buy a new one for the same price But, Scheels used to monitor their inventory and close out slow sellers at discounted price We all have to remember that not every one is a savvy gun owner Let's face Scheels caters to providing a shopping experience

The Scheels rods are very nice, but you can’t go off what the rod says the action and power is They are generally a bit stiffer of a rod compared to some others I found the Tournament series 7’6″ ML to be somewhere in between a M and ML with a bit slower than fast action They’re a decent rod with an absolutely fantastic warranty
