Re: SDFCU Secured Card graduation info The whole $4,999 vs $5,000 secured card limit thing hits me as curious, curious but not surprising Given Visa cards get branded as "Signature" cards at the $5,000 limit threshold, I've seen quite a few financial institutions, most notably credit unions, set their limit for secured cards at $4,999

I had a very interesting experience I thought I'd share here I am an American expat living in Africa I have a number of credit cards with no foreign transaction fee that I use when possible However, every once in a while I will find a vendor that requires a PIN card When this happens, I need to either use cash or use my Schwab debit card
