I have a 2017 Rebel (5 7, 4x4) with 90K miles on the clock and my truck has started to do what I feel like is the torque converter shudder When going up a grade at a constant 45-50mph, it feels like I'm riding on a washboard or rumble strips At 65-75 I am also getting driveline vibrations, but only slightly noticable My question is two fold

There are multiple people that have drained and refilled the transmission and added LubeGurad and it solved the shudder But there are also people that have done the same, and the shudder was still there I guess my pint is, LubeGuard is cheap compared to pulling the transmission and replacing the TC It’s worth a shot

When I have a customer who has a complaint about a "shudder", the first thing I inspect it the pinion angle and the prop-shaft center support bearing I have found that a ¼"-⅜" shim between the center support bearing and the mounting bracket almost eliminates the shudder when accelerating from a stop with a load

Here is what my truck (2015, 2500, 6 4) is doing and has been doing since new When you slow down from a higher speed to make a turn onto a new street, slowing down to approximately 15 mph, once you accelerate, the truck will shudder and shake like the transmission is slipping It only does this when the truck remains in 3rd gear
