windows update not working after a fresh install I did a reinstall off a usb drive and then did a second reinstall but chose to "not change" current files after I made that selection the updates started Not sure why I had to do it that way in order for the updates to start downloading but it was the only thing that worked for me and it was the older win7 install files on the usb
