The one thing I like about Sherdog more than Tapology is that it says how many knockout, submission and decision wins and losses a fighter has, as well as the percentage of wins and losses that have been decided by each of those methods Other than that, I prefer Tapology to Sherdog with everything else

I want to scrape the stats of a number of fighters in my list In other words, I have a column of mma fighters and would like to scrape sherdog com for each fighter name to try and get their stats Is there an efficient way to do this? It seems like building a scraper for a certain url and then changing it for every name might be more work than doing it manually Does anyone have some guidance?

I made a very comprehensive dataset based on all fighters in the sherdog com database to create an Elo system similar to chess ranking with custom weights Additionally, I have calculated the differential stats, striking accuracy, etc of every fight by scraping ufcstats com and then included each fighter's historical average of all these stats at the time of each fight for predictive purposes
