- Windows 11 USB camera no longer able to record video in camera app . . .
I have tried this particular camera on another Windows 11 computer and it works fine with no issues I can play mp4 video files that were recorded prior to this problem in the media player app with no problem This is a recording issue, not a playback issue I have tried re-installing the camera, the camera drivers, the camera app, etc

I tried looking for a video recording program pre-installed in my tablet, but couldn't find anything The program app doesn't need to be anything fancy as I will not be doing a lot of editing, just something to pretty much hit the "record" and "stop recording" buttons The Windows app store doesn't have a wide variety of options to choose from

The problem is the Camera app in my laptop is not recording video When I click on the video icon it seems like it starts to record but instantly stops and no video is recorded I can take pictures just fine Thanks in advance!

I understand you're having trouble with your camera app not recording sound How about when not using the camera app, check your mic whether its working or not on other apps like skype etc Press start then Search Microphone privacy settings under "Choose which Microsoft Store apps can access your microphone" Make sure Camera app is turn on
