Bring back several legacy modes from previous games like Break the Targets (unique for each character), Smash Run, Boss Rush and a proper All-Star Mode I think this is a possibility of what could happen Something like a middle point between Ultimate S2E and a built-from-scratch Smash 6

Smash is the same way, it isn't "hey this is an old character" it's "hey look, this character that was a beep boop sprite is in 3D now!" Third party characters never expressly fill this role because they've already been depicted in 3D (unless we get like, an indie or something)
