- Sobeys or Superstore, which do you prefer and what is your reason?
Sobeys prices have become more competitive (more likely superstore stopped having sales) Sobeys bakery has leapfrogged Superstore for bread and actual butter baked goods The prepped meal deli stuff seems to be slowly catching up too Highlighting local products is way better Low sensory is so nice!

I think it's similar to sobeys pricing Definitely more expensive than flyer shopping or discount grocers (no frills, freshco, etc ) But I don't think voila pricing is artificially inflated relative to Sobey's Quality is top notch (meats and produce) and any issues are rectified promptly via a refund

They are fishing lobster in the Bay of Fundy now We usually to get ours from the whitetail fisheries in Lorneville, just west of Saint John but that has been hit or miss the last couple of years

Within the Pattison Group, Choices is fully upscale, similar to Pete’s in Halifax, and Nesters is a smaller market store (don’t think I’ve ever shopped there except for Whistler ) Save -on Foods is way overpriced, kinda like Sobeys Safeway, such that I significantly prefer the Loblaws options Nothing in the 4th picture is a grocer

Safeway, Sobeys and Save On Foods have 15% on the first Tuesday of the month if you spend >$50 But, also, I have always lived far closer to a Safeway than any other grocery store Like, I can walk to Safeway faster than I can drive to an alternative store
