Typical Power Lok with two-piece case and two cross shafts seating in "v" shaped cutouts Looking at it I think it from an AMC 20 It has 8 ring gear bolt holes (7 16"), The axles splines look about 29 and the diff bearing had no shims (AMC 20's have the shims between the bearing cup and housing)

Nobody has them new You might find a NOS set on a shelf somewhere, try the different AMC vendors I don't think anything in the 2 xx has been made since Chrysler bought out AMC in 1987 3 54 (maybe 3 31) is probably the highest gear set you'll find, mostly because of the Jeep crowd

Answered my own question, Drive Train Specialists has several posi options for the AMC 20, among them a truetrac for $569 They also have something called an ECTED which I assume is an electronically controlled locker, but maybe someone could enlighten us on exactly what that is and the pros cons? If your talking about "new" gear sets as far as I know no vendor is making 3 15 gears anymore for the AMC 20 All the vendors appear to have switched to 3 08 for some reason You can check Yukon, M2, Motive, or Omix for new gear sets

Good advice, i used my amc 20 for about 25 yrs, had a factory 4 44 gear and detroit locker I welded the tubes and had ladder bars on it so no spring pads to bend, had moser axles in it for a few years because I broke a stock axle It did well up to about 550hp Then pushing about 750hp I bent the tubes
