I've got a few splitting tools but they are all maul types with thick heads and I've been wanting some type of standard profile axe in the 5 plus pound range for splitting and the heavyweight vintage heads are kind of hard to find and usually go for a pretty penny, so today I bit the bullet and walked out of Harbor Freight with the best axe $27
