This is really a follow on from my earlier posts, as I just wanted to give an update on my recovery since having a stapedectomy in my right ear at the LGI on 12th October As said, it was my second operation as I had previously had a stapedectomy in my right ear but that was over twenty years ago Day of Operation:

I am deciding whether or not to get a stapedectomy done, and my doctor told me that it is only a 0 1% chance (1 out of 1000) that i will go completely deaf i think i am going to go through with it since i have been partialy deaf my whole life, and am excited to hear the difference this site made me feel better about my decision thanks
