Gerry, yep, I had that same idea a few years back, and put two Trangia burners in a double-burner Sterno stove! Worked very well, but unless you used very small pots, the Sterno setup is too close together

I found this in a bag in a thrift store for 1 91usd I think it's the coolest thing I've ever seen made by Sterno A normal size popcan or trangia of either size won't fit, but the old fuel can I had from a "Safety Chef" (looked army issue) did I made an inner wall with fiberglass inner wick, popcan top burner out of the fuel can It takes awhile to prime, but once it did, it went VERY well
