I was looking for a particular game that I didn't get to play much during my childhood (Lego Racers 2 if anyone's curious) and I saw it was on myabandonware com, though I'm curious if it's still safe since all the posts I could find on it were from at least a year ago I'm wondering if anyone still uses it and can verify if it's still safe to use

the odd thing is that archive org wants (or IS actually) to be a the one historical archive of all kinds of sorts including software why they do not moderate the uploads, or even disable certain upload from download (like copyrighted too new games) and in such cases only have them archived on their servers for the historical value is beyond me as such also : anyone for example can make a

I had downloaded kidpix from it because of the "I made a booboo yeah" guy (it didn't work on my laptop) and I had the idea to look for a jet fighting game I played in middle school called "Tom Clancy's HAWX" and I found it and instantly became an expert; beating levels I hadn't before and even beating the game on the highest difficulty
