@millercarbon i think this shows that as long as you don’t talk about Tekton and or Eric as being the lord and savior, then you can have a normal conversation about the speakers The other topic of a guy looking for $20-$30k speakers and people saying “TEKTON” are the reason for all the drama and issues

I had a pair of Tekton Double Impacts that I sold when I moved to a smaller home After a year of evaluating various smaller speakers I decided to go back to Tekton but with the more compact Electron SE In my room these speakers work perfectly The bass on these smaller speakers is unbelievably deep and tight

Ok about the speakers and my set up, I am driving them with a McIntosh 8900 Integrated Amp and a Aurender music server N100H (4 TB) running through the DAC in the 8900 My speaker cables were provided by Eric, so I opted for theses Mogami cables (Tekton makes them for a very reasonable price if you are interested )

Tekton is top of my speaker upgrade list Technically, Tekton IS the list! Lol! Moab, Moab Be, Ulfberht That's about it Their low mass midrange approach is the first really promising new thing I've seen in years Even better, it actually seems to work So very keen to hear what you think For now though I am curious what you think about the

Oh, and the customer service at Tekton sucks the big one I didn’t mind waiting 3 1 2 months but when I thought I was doing something wrong the owner at Tekton became defensive and combative They don’t return emails or phone calls It’s a mess But, let’s not forget, Eric Alexander IS a drummer so maybe we should excuse him
