A bigger update for today: I've tested the Tamiya wings to the Kotare fuselage and am very happy to report that the fit is very good indeed just dry fitted: There's a bit of a gap at the rear due to the difference in thickness at the rear between the Kotare recessed section and the Tamiya plastic, but this is easily addressed

50 50 is my default go-to thinning ratio for most paint and thinner combinations, and is a good place to start You can then vary it from there, depending on the materials at hand and what you're trying to achieve If you can, use Mr Color Thinner or Tamiya lacquer thinner instead of X-20A, as they produce much finer results However, if fumes and odours are still an issue, X-20A is at least
