Hi all, I'm in the process of installing a telescopic steering column on GTM#534 It came from a c6 donor C6 steering column looks slightly different than C5 I just hope this won't cause any compatibility issues later My question is, is telescopic recommended on this car? Does it feel much different when driving?

If anyone has a cover assembly (upper lower) for a C5 Corvette Steering column, without "Telescopic Column", and you don't plan to use it, I would appreciate the chance to buy it from you Please send a PM, and I'll respond

They also are telescopic so they can extend but with the short windshield the shortest is what I need I know some have modified the springs to change the tension on the windshield but I found it to be about right

I was then able to sit in the seat and like telescopic steering slide the shaft in and out to find the exact location that I was comfortable while sitting in my "relaxed" driving position Locked down all of the set screws in the bearings as well as the splines and I think it's all but done
